The Forbes Best-in-State Wealth Advisors 2025 ranking, compiled by SHOOK Research, evaluates advisors from national, regional, and independent firms.
The ranking is based on an algorithm that incorporates qualitative criteria, primarily gained through telephone and in-person due diligence interviews, and quantitative data. This ranking is valid from June 30, 2023, to June 30, 2024, and was released on April 8, 2025. Advisors considered for this ranking have a minimum of seven years of experience. The algorithm evaluates factors such as revenue trends, assets under management, compliance records, industry experience, and adherence to best practices in client service.
Portfolio performance is not considered due to the diverse client objectives and limited availability of audited data. Out of approximately 48,944 nominations, approximately 9,722 advisors were recognized with this award.
